We love camping as a family.
Love it.
With such nice hot weather lately, we decided to go on our 5th trip this year. We arrived last Friday night and set up camp in our favorite meadow. Once we had the campfire going, we popped open the wine, relaxed, and enjoyed being alone as a family.
We got an early start the next morning; before eight o'clock, we packed a bag with food and water and set off to explore.
We walked for about two miles. We came to the fork, where we stopped to take a break while we decided which way to go. The right or the left fork? One would lead us deep into the countyside; the other would lead us back to camp. The final decision was to take the route back to camp. It was very hot and the kids were eager to get back and play.
We reached our campsite by 12 o'clock, at which time we ate some lunch and spent the afternoon relaxing and playing. Once the sun went down, we gave each other a sponge bath. Being naked in the woods is all part of the fun of camping!
